About Us. St. John's Church is unique in its makeup, and the congregation is made up of varied backgrounds, ages, denominations, sexual orientations, races, countries of origin, and more. Ours is an amalgamation of the living word of Christ Jesus.

If you're looking for a church that...

  • Fits you instead of making you fit it.
  • Allows you to ask questions and doubt.
  • Takes the Bible too seriously to take literally.
  • Believes all people should be welcome and respected without qualification.
  • Has a sense of humor
  • Enjoys weekly the wisdom of a pastor who has a doctorate in Biblical Studies

...then St. John's Church might just be the place you'll find community, stimulating dialogue, and perhaps some answers (or new questions).

Our History. St. John's Wilmot is known as "the little white church on the hill," and celebrates its 150th Anniversary in 2008. However, even though our church was founded in 1858, our roots go further than that. Click below to find out more about St. John's history.
